Objective 1: High-Quality Teaching for Every Child

We want all children to receive high-quality teaching that helps them learn, remember and apply new knowledge successfully. We will pay particular attention to supporting pupils with SEND, disadvantaged pupils and those who may face additional barriers to learning.

We will do this by:

1. Making sure teachers identify any gaps in learning early and provide the right support to help children catch up and succeed.
2. Continuing to develop staff skills so lessons are adapted to meet the needs of all learners and build on what children already know.
3. Using effective feedback to help children understand their next steps, correct misconceptions and strengthen their learning.

Objective 2: Improving Mathematics Outcomes

We want all children to develop a secure understanding of maths so that they can calculate accurately, explain their thinking and confidently solve problems.

We will do this by:

1. Using practical resources and visual representations to help children develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
2. Encouraging pupils to talk about their mathematical thinking, explain their reasoning and make connections between different areas of maths.
3. Identifying and addressing misconceptions quickly through effective teaching, assessment and targeted support.

Objective 3: Improving Attendance

We want all children to attend school regularly so that they can make the most of their learning opportunities and achieve their full potential.

We will do this by:

1. Ensuring all staff consistently follow our attendance procedures and work together to promote good attendance.
2. Providing targeted support for pupils and families where attendance is a concern, particularly for groups whose attendance may be more vulnerable.
3. Working closely with families, pastoral staff and external agencies to identify and overcome barriers to attendance as early as possible.
