Every 3 and 4 year-old is entitled to 15 hours of free early education each week for 38 weeks of the year.

30 Hours Free Childcare Funding for working parents:

As you may be aware, from September 2017 the Government is providing twice the amount of free childcare, up from 570 hours a year to 1,140 hours a year, for qualifying parents. Full details can be found on the Government website: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/30-hours-free-childcare-eligibility. Parents will need to register with HMRC, and obtain an authorisation to give to us.  Please do not hesitate to contact the school’s office if you have any queries regarding this funding.

Your child becomes eligible from 1 September, 1 January or 1 April following their 3rd birthday.

Tax credit: Help is also available through Working Tax Credit which, if you are eligible, can provide substantial support with childcare costs.

Childcare vouchers: We accept childcare vouchers, which is a great way for parents to save on childcare costs.

Tax-Free Childcare

You can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare. This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if a child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year).

If you get Tax-Free Childcare, you’ll set up an online childcare account for your child. For every £8 you pay into this account, the government will pay in £2 to use to pay your provider.

You can get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as 30 hours free childcare if you’re eligible for both.
