Governor Vacancies

Could you be a School Governor?

We are excited to announce that we are looking for up to 3 new Governors to join our Governing Body. Based in West Drayton, in the London Borough of Hillingdon, the Laurel Lane and St Martin’s Primary School Federated Governing Body is part of the Frays Multi-Academy Trust (www.fraysacademytrust.org).

Governors are unpaid volunteers with the highest aspirations for all our children.  We are responsible for the day to day oversight of school leadership and work with the schools to ensure our children have the best possible opportunities to achieve their full potential.   We are proud of our diverse community and celebrate the skills, talent and ability of all.

We are seeking local people who have the skills or experience in Teaching and Learning (including Safeguarding and/or SEND), school governance and chairing meetings. We welcome anyone with a keen interest in primary school education and a willingness to learn and be part of our thriving school community.

Our ethos is founded on the principles of respect for one another, self-discipline and honesty. We have strong links with the local community, including the Parish Church of St Martins.

We are looking for Governors to volunteer to share their skills and experience with us and be an active member of our Governing Body. This will involve attending regular meetings and taking an active interest in school activities

Could you be the person we are looking for? For more information, contact our clerk at kkinsella@365.fraysacademytrust.org or office@fraysacademytrust.org.  We are waiting to hear from you.
