Miss Loveridge and Ms Smith are Laurel Lane's Middle Leadership and they support the personal development of the school. Each half term, they will provide an update on all of their hard work.

Summer 1 Term 2025

This half term has been a very short but busy few weeks. The children have been involved with learning and celebrating the 80th Anniversary of VE Day by creating posters, pictures and going into different classes to share their work. In the last hour of the afternoon, we allowed the children to get involved with their own class parties. Thank you to all the families that were able to contribute to make this day special and memorable for the children. We were able to make a beautiful display including some of the children’s hard work.

To finish the half term off, we decided to run an art afternoon which had a focus on creating flowers. We invited parents to come and work with their children in creating flowers using recycled materials, clay, paint and many more. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend this event. Our aim is to have a garden near the front office to display the children’s amazing work.

Next half term we look forward to arranging more events for both the children and parents, such as celebrating Gypsy and Roma Traveller month, Sports day and Healthy Eating week.
